Choose Your Own Adventure

2020 has been a YEAR.

And we’re looking to make it even more memorable.

Inspired by our Lobster Roll in 2019, we set out to do something even more inspiring and then 2020 rolled into the picture. Global pandemic, political unrest, and social justice, became the focus of a constant news reel in a rapidly changing world. We pressed pause on our plans as so many of us have. We took stock, stuck to our 2020 principles of 1. be inclusive 2. practice social distancing 3. wear a mask and 4. sacrifice so that we can all live better lives sooner and audibled immediately (HOT ROUTE!).

Instead of a group event let’s challenge each other to do something great. Something that really pushes us individually to our limits. Our Director of Enthusiasm, Paul Wheaton immediately jumped in headfirst creating a 130 mile cycling loop through South Jersey and has already raised over $5500 for Team I Hate Cancer in the process. It’s the longest ride of his life. Inspired by a friend’s 4 year old niece who just received a Stage 4 brain cancer diagnosis, he went out with a good friend and rode his heart out, live blogging the trials, tribulations and snack stops along the way.

The Lobster Roll riders are up next. Designing their solo missions in honor and in memory of those people who inspire them every day to hate cancer a little more. Even Lobster Roll Driver (and Team I Hate Cancer co-founder) CJ Walsh is getting in on the action.

We want you to join us. Sign up today to honor the legacy of your nearest and dearest who has received their own cancer diagnosis. Challenge yourself to try something you’ve never done before. Run a little further, ride a little longer. We want to follow along on social media, so make sure you tag @TeamIHateCancer so we can come along for the ride.

We can’t wait to see what you’re capable of when you Choose Your Own Adventure.
